Music is more than just a way to make a living…to me, it’s always been a “Way of Life.” Sometimes hard, but always good because it was going up and down the interstate…playing for all those people. It started for me on November 23rd, 1956…I was 5…my sister was 6…and we both had lots of personality and weren’t afraid of showing it. We played our music thru High School. I signed up for the Army…after I was honorably discharged…I hit the road with a set of drums and ATTITUDE! Managed to work at the Ryman Auditorium a couple times as a drummer…that led to lots of Military tours…16 foreign countries, and 48 states. Early 70’s led me to Capital Records in Hollywood for lots of recording sessions. Las Vegas was fun at least 3 times a year. But as most “Road Dogs” as we were called in the day…put on the Music Miles…I was tire of traveling. So here comes radio in 1985! It was alot easier and no more going from town to town…day after day…year after year. Thirty-two years later, I ended up in Ft. Dodge, IA. I love all music, especially Classic Country, and enjoy being your Morning Show Host on KWMT weekday mornings, and hosting Sunday Country Gospel Sunday mornings. Music is more than a job…it’s a way of life… And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
