Man Wanted by U.S. Marshals Leads Police on Chase

A man that is wanted by the U.S. Marshal Service lead law enforcement on a short pursuit this afternoon. According to Fort Dodge Police Chief Roger Porter, the pursuit started in the northwest portion of town. The chase ended when the suspect, identified as Chad Panzi, stopped his vehicle at 709 Forest Ave. Officers were then able to apprehended the suspect inside that residence. Right now it’s unknown what the suspect was wanted for; Chief Porter didn’t have that information. The suspect did request medical attention and was transported to UnityPoint Trinity Regional Medical Center. Panzi was screaming in pain while receiving medical attention. Chief Porter said that no officers were injured.
