Busy Night Ahead for FD Council

A busy night is expected for the Fort Dodge City Council. In addition to its 6:00pm business session, three workshops are on tonight's agenda. At 5:30, the council will hold a workshop to discuss proposed amendments to the city's new animal control ordinance. The proposed changes include the elimination of a six pet limit requirement for owners. Another change to be considered would allow pets to roam free on private property provided their owners are present. Following the council's business session, two more workshops will be held. The first will be a discussion on plans to demolish the Expo Pool and convert it to a public park. During the second workshop, council will discuss the new garbage container program.
