Dilley Admits to Role in Fisher's Death



A Fort Dodge man admitted to his role in the June 2013 death of Fort Dodge resident Steven Fisher. 29 year-old Ronald Dilley pleaded guilty on Friday to a charge of second-degree murder, and will face up to 50 years in prison when he is sentenced on May 5. Dilley admitted to hitting Fisher in the head with a hatchet four times. On June 10, Fisher’s body was found in a ditch near Otho. Dilley and 22 year-old Fort Dodge resident Holly Eckstrom were arrested two days later. Eckstrom is scheduled to stand trial beginning July 22. She has pleaded not guilty in the case.
