FD Man Sentenced in Death of Steven Fisher

A Fort Dodge man must serve at least 35 years in prison in connection to the death of Fort Dodge resident Steven Fisher. 29 year-old Ronald Dilley was sentenced on Monday to up to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder, and must serve 70 percent of the sentence before being eligible for parole. Dilley admitted to hitting Fisher in the head with a hatchet on July 10 of last year and dumping his body in a ditch near Otho. Another suspect, 23 year-old Holly Ekstrom, is set to stand trial on July 22 on a first-degree murder charge.
