The Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight has scheduled their next trip to Washington for this spring. On May 11, Honor Flight will take off from the Fort Dodge Regional Airport and take World War II and Korean War veterans to tour the nation's capital for the day. About 110 veterans are expected to take part, and will see the World War II and Korean War memorials, the Washington Monument, and the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Applications are still being accepted for the flight. Veterans can receive applications by visiting the Veterans Affairs Office in person or on their website.
