Mother-In-Law Charged in Tama Homicide Investigation

Bond was set at $1 million for a woman charged in the death of her daughter-in-law in Tama. 57 year-old Ginger Jefferson made her initial appearance in court Friday on a first-degree murder charge. Jefferson, who was initially taken into custody as a witness, is accused of killing 32 year-old Kerry O'Clair-Jefferson. O'Clair-Jefferson's body was found inside a Tama home on Wednesday afternoon. An autopsy showed O'Clair-Jefferson died of stab wounds to her neck.
