Paton Hosts First Stop on Cyclone Tailgate Tour



The 2014 Cyclone Tailgate Tour kicked off in Paton yesterday with well over 300 fans in attendance. Iowa State coaches Paul Rhodes and Fred Hoiberg were among those on the tour and spoke about the momentum the athletics department has seen, most recently word that the project to close the south end zone of Jack Trice Stadium is finally happening. The project would push the stadium's capacity to 61,000, which would make it the third largest stadium in the Big 12. Fresh off of an appearance in the Sweet 16, Hoiberg says the offseason is an important time to connect with fans:



The tour continues today with stops in Sioux City and Okoboji
