Rep. King Helps Veterans Past Monument Barricades

Republican Congressman Steve King admitted Tuesday that he had a role in allowing veterans tour monuments that were supposed to be closed due to the government shutdown. On a conference call, King confirmed to reporters that he distracted a security guard while a gate to the World War II memorial was open. King had strong words for President Obama, saying the White House was responsible for the barricades going up:
