Two Iowa men were sentenced to federal prison on Tuesday for separate child pornography convictions. The U.S. Attorney's Office for northern Iowa says 21 year-old Cedar Rapids resident Jason Smith was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to one count of receiving child pornography. Investigators say Smith posed as a girl on the Internet and enticed minors to send him sexually explicit videos. 50-year-old Dubuque resident Robert Buss was sentenced to 20 years after earlier pleading guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography. Investigators say Buss used the Internet to distribute child pornography and also tried to entice minors into sending him sexually explicit pictures, including a boy he met while on a mission trip to Haiti.
