Waterloo Man Sought Following November Shooting Death of Teenager
Waterloo police are seeking a man in connection with the November shooting death of a teenager. The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reported Tuesday that police issued a warrant for 23-year-old Perquondis Holmes, charging him with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Witnesses allegedly saw Holmes shooting a gun during an incident in which 18-year-old Dae'Quan Campbell was killed. Campbell died of gunshot wounds after
a car he was driving hit a garage on November 14th. Officials say Holmes hasn't been charged in Campbell's death but he isn't supposed to possess firearms because of a 2007 conviction for intimidation with a weapon.
