Webster County Supervisors File Lawsuit in Right Of Way Dispute

The Webster County Board of Supervisors have filed a lawsuit in Iowa District Court in regards to a drainage ditch right of way. The issue is a dispute between the board of supervisors and Drainage District 96, an independently managed district between Moorland and Otho. The board of supervisors believe that a right of way that extends 100 feet from either side of of the district's open ditch is more land than should be allowed. The district's board of trustees say the land is what is needed for work to be done on the ditch.
