NASCAR's Tony Stewart Injured at Southern Iowa Speedway
NASCAR driver Tony Stewart was hospitalized Monday night following a crash at Southern Iowa Speedwy in Oskaloosa. The Associated Press reports Stewart broke his right leg in two places and had surgery. Stewart was leading the 30-lap race in a 360 winged sprint car with five laps to go when a lapped car spun out causing Stewart and two others to crash. Stewart was conscious and talking when he was placed on a stretcher. He is recovering at a Des Moines hospital.
