I am the Morning Show Host on Classic Hits 92.1the Eagle. I grew up in San Diego, California. I started working in radio in 1998 (14 years ago!) as a broadcaster here in Iowa. After graduating from the Broadcasting program at Iowa Central Community College in 2000, I managed a video production studio while simultaneously working in radio, giving me the chance to be creative to a public audience in multiple mediums. Over the years I have worked in both Fort Dodge and Humboldt radio stations and done everything from news to production...but I enjoy my current position as Director of Copy Writing the most. In my spare time I croon. In addition to being a karaoke junkie, I was the lead singer/songwriter/Bass player for the Pocahontas based classic rock band "House of Cards" for 6 years before moving to the lead vocal role in the Storm Lake based progressive blues band "The Jacob Lee Band". This year I moved back to my Bass playing the fat strings for the Fort Dodge based cover band "Beaver Creek". I recently dabbled in science as well, completing my Biotechnology degree at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge in May.
