SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) _ A 52-year-old Fort Dodge man has been convicted of two methamphetamine charges.
Prosecutors say Kirk Gutknecht was found guilty on Tuesday by a federal jury in U.S. District Court in Sioux City. The charges are conspiracy to make and distribute meth and possessing pseudoephedrine with the intent to make meth.
Prosecutors say Gutknecht was involved in a meth operation from September 2008 through December 2011.
Gutknecht faces a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison on the conspiracy charge. The maximum sentence on the other charge is 20 years. His sentencing date has not been set.
