One item on the agenda is a request to rename a portion of 5th Street Northwest Taylor Place, after the family of City Councilman Mark Taylor. The councilman and his brother sent a letter to the city council requesting the name change. The specific area in question is just off Hawkeye Avenue to a dead end.
The council meets at 5-pm Monday in council chambers of Fort Dodge City Hall.
