Sunday afternoon, a concert was held to help benefit the Alzheimer's Association in there fight against the disease. The concert took place at the Starlite in Fort Dodge. Five bands took the stage throughout the night including, Beaver Creek, Brandon Scott Sellner & the Austin Stranglers, Cody McClintock, GearDown, Mudd Jugg, & Planet Rock. An auction was also held at 5:30 PM. The event was in memory of Dean Morris of Fort Dodge and in honor of his wife Shirley, who is currently battling the disease.
