WALL LAKE, Iowa (AP) _ Three northwestern Iowa men have been charged with kidnapping for allegedly taking a migrant worker to several locations in Wall Lake and assaulting him repeatedly in 2009. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says 26-year-old Thomas Schroeder the second, of Wall Lake, 26-year-old Steven Schroeder of Odebolt, and 42-year-old Bradley Jacobsen of Wall Lake are charged with first-degree kidnapping. They allegedly assaulted Rafael Trevino at his home, at an abandoned factory, and at a bar on August 3rd, 2009, leaving Trevino with a traumatic brain injury. They turned themselves in on Wednesday, were booked on the charges and released. Attorneys were not listed in the online court files. Attorneys listed for them in a federal civil lawsuit involving the case did not immediately return calls.
