Fort Dodge was a big buzz even on a wet rainy Saturday morning. Thousands of people were on hand for the annual "Market on Central" which takes place from 8am to 1pm every other Saturday all the way up to the end of September of this year.

With a nice variety of foods, clothng, household items, and free popular sampling the lead Coordinator Cheryl O'Hern says the event "has been a huge success and now business vendors are opening up new stores, hiring new people, and really has been a vital resource for new businesses in the city of Fort Dodge." The event invites people of all ages as there is something for everybody with popcorn and candy for the kids and pottery and clothing for the adults. O' Hern added that the popular item in the event so far is the meats department where they offer free samples of some of the best bacon you'll ever have in your life.

Once again, "Market on Central" continues to be a very popular event for all ages so please come out and be part of it all every other Saturday from 8am to 1pm on Central Avenue in Fort Dodge.
