Iowa Woman Caught in Car Chase



MASON CITY, Iowa — A Davenport woman faces multiple charges after leading Mason City police on a car chase.

Alexis Nicole Robinson, 22, is charged with motor vehicle theft, eluding and assault while participating in a felony. In addition, four counts of child endangerment have been filed along with driving while barred.

She in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $5,000 bond.

A deputy attempted a traffic stop Friday night and discovered the car was stolen. 

Deputies chased the car. On two occasions deputies say Robinson rammed patrol cars. Four children between the ages of 1 and 4 were in the car during the chase.
