The Market on Central is taking place this morning into the afternoon on Central Avenue in Fort Dodge. The event goes from 8am to 1pm every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month concluding at the end of September.

Every Market on Central even features a different theme which keeps the Iowans and tourists coming back for more every other week. Today's theme was on farmers and had the farm bureaus set up in tents where they offered contests for people to win free American Farmer T-Shirts. Aside from the contests, they offer a plethora of vegetables along with breakfast donuts and burritos as well. Household items such as pottery, jewelry, and many other appliances are available for the people who show up to the event.

The Market on Central continues to be a big success rain or shine and is becoming one of the most popular things to do on a Saturday with your loved ones.
