The Burn Ban will be lifted effective at 12:00pm Noon Tuesday, August 28tth of 2012. The announcement was made by Fort Dodge Firefighter Doug Oswell at the City Council Meeting on Monday evening, August 27th.

The allowance of recreational fires will be allowed for the Fort Dodge residents. The ordinance will be in full effect though for the burning of garbage, yard waste, and building materials. The Firefighter added that if these ordinances are broken the ban would be put back in place immediately.
