Couple Arrested for Alleged Forgery,Theft Operation
The Fort Dodge Police Department has made two arrests in connection with a series of forgery and thefts in the area. Chief Tim Carmody says 29 year-old Aaron Woodman and his 25 year-old wife Trisha Woodman were both arrested on a combined 14 counts of forgery, theft, and ongoing criminal conduct. They are accused of forging checks on closed business and personal accounts. Trisha Woodman made her initial appearance in Webster County Magistrate Court on Monday, had her case sent to District Court, and was released with supervision to the Department of Corrections. Aaron Woodman is currently being held in the Tama County jail on charges stemming from a January 11th arrest. Woodman will be transferred to Webster County once his case is complete.
