Webster County to Update Road Signs
The Webster County Engineer's Office will be receiving grant funding to replace several warning signs on county roadways. County Engineer Randy Will says his office will look to replace over 600 signs between now and June 30th of 2014. Will says the Iowa Department of Transporation grant is to upgrade regulatory and warning signs on paved roads that see under 1,000 vehicles per day in Webster County. The signage includes 424 no passing signs, 96 stop ahead signs, and 72 stop signs. Will says once the work is complete, IDOT will reimburse his office in the amount of $29,100.
