The Webster County Board of Supervisors began discussions yesterday regarding a smoking and tobacco usage policy for county employees. The policy does not seek to limit smoking or tobacco use, but rather to designate areas on county properties as smoking areas. Under the 2008 Iowa Smoke Free Air Act, smoking is banned inside county buildings, but leaves the option open for outdoor designated areas. Board President Bob Singer says it may be impossible to please everyone, but a solution is possible:
