The Fort Dodge Police Department recently helped launch the start of a new initiative to help prevent crime. Bank Watch met for the first time on February 27, twenty days after CS Bank on N 29th St was robbed. Police Chief Tim Carmody says a group of area bank representatives plan to meet quarterly to discuss proactive and preventive measures, robbery procedures, and reporting suspicious activity.
