Webster County to Move Forward with Bridge Replacements
The Webster County Engineer's Office is planning to replace at least six bridges this Summer and Fall. Engineer Randy Will says currently, there are 18 county bridges that are posted as having a 10 ton or less limit. The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved a plan to have six of the 18 bridges replaces, which Will estimates will cost between $600,000 and $750,000. Two bridges are located northeast of Fort Dodge, two more are located north of Harcourt, and the remaining two are near Slifer. The county will begin accepting Will projects construction will take place between July and October of this year.
