A group of local government officials will be headed back home later today after a schedule full of meetings in Washington, D.C. yesterday. 13 people made the annual trek to the nation's capital to meet with federal lawmakers hoping to garner support for local projects and priorities. Among the topics discussed so far include the Ag Industrial Park, Fort Dodge Regional Airport, and the completion of Highway 20.
