SWG, Prairie Valley Schools to Discuss Whole-Grade Sharing
Two area school districts say they intend to negotiate a whole-grade sharing system. Yesterday, the Southeast Webster Grand Community School board approved a motion to begin discussions with the Prairie Valley Community School District on a whole-grade sharing system. On Tuesday, the Prairie Valley Community School board approved a similar motion. Currently, the two districts already have a whole-grade sharing agreement for Chemistry, Physics, and Agriculture. Todd Lundgren, a Southeast Webster Grand sharing committee member, said yesterday if agreed upon, whole-grade sharing would not take effect until the 2014 school year and would effect grades 5-12 only.
