Boone Murder Suspect Released on Bond

A Boone man charged with murdering his wife is free from jail today after his bond was lowered in District Court. 39 year-old Alexander Fazzino was arrested two weeks ago in Missouri, about one year after his 32 year-old wife Emily Fazzino was found dead in their Boone home. A district judge lowered Fazzino's bond yesterday from $1.5 million cash to $500,000 cash or surety, and Fazzino posted ten percent of the bond and was released.. In a bond order, District Judge Michael Moon cited no prior record of convictions or history of failing to pay any fines or court costs as reasons for a $1.5 million dollar cash-only bond as being too excessive.
