When it meets on Tuesday, the Webster County Board of Supervisors are expected to discuss future plans regarding the county attorney's office. Webster County Attorney Ricki Osborn announced yesterday that she will be stepping down at the end of this month to enter into private practice. Osborn, who has served as Webster County Attorney for four years, will be taking over the retiring Tom Price's law practice. On Tuesday, the board of Supervisors will accept Osborn's resignation and will discuss its options. Iowa law states vacancies can be filled by appointment within 40 days or by special election.
