Earlier this week, 4th District Congressman Steve King voted in favor of a stand-alone bill to repeal ObamaCare. A spokesman for Congressman King said this was the first time that the 113th Congress and its 82 new members have had a chance to vote to repeal ObamaCare. The bill, which would likely be defeated by the senate, was passed by a 229-195 vote. Speaking on the House floor this week, King said ObamaCare is full of empty promises:
The Washington Post reports that since ObamaCare was instituted, this week marked the 37th time that Congressional Republicans have attempted to repeal or dismantle the law.
