St. Eds Softball Improves Win Record

The St Edmond softball team improved to 3-0 on the young season in last night's Sunny 99.7 High School Softball game of the week. The Gaels escaped with a 2-0 win over Hampton-Dumont in their first home game of the year. Senior pitcher Katie Donnelly fired a complete game shutout, giving up only two hits and striking out seven. After the game, she praised the effort of the teammates behind her, who allowed only two hits to escape the infield (Donnelly) Katy Bocken scored in the 2nd inning off of a Brigid Hanley single and Megan Flattery scored in the 6th off of a wild pitch.
