The Pocahontas County Sheriff's Office says four men are facing charges in connection with the theft of copper from field irrigation pivots as well as other thefts from vacant farms. Officials say the four suspects are facing theft, criminal mischief, and ongoing criminal conduct charges after they were arrested in Humboldt County. Tyler Tinken, Ricky Habben, Nelson Troyer, and Daniel Reames are all being held on bond in connection with the investigation. The investigation had been ongoing since investigators served search warrants at the homes of Tinken and Troyer in late April. Tinken, Troyer, and Habben are facing similar charges in Buena Vista County, and officials in Palo Alto County are also investigating the suspects in reference to thefts of copper, as well.
