The Fort Dodge Police Department says one man is in custody following a Friday morning domestic incident. Police Chief Tim Carmody says officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 6th Avenue South to remove a male from the residence. Upon arriving, the victim, 42 year-old Kristina Bockoven claimed that her ex-boyfriend, 44 year-old Kevin Crouse, had just left the house. A civil no-contact order was in effect between the two of them. At the scene, Bockoven claimed Crouse had set several objects on fire. Officers discovered several plants, pots, a fan, and lamp shade had been burned in addition to the inside of the shower burnt halfway up the shower wall. Crouse was charged with First-Degree Arson and and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and was booked into the Webster County Jail.
