Humboldt Mourning Loss of Two Teens Killed in Crash
The Humboldt community is mourning the loss of two teenagers who were killed in an early Saturday crash near Livermore. On Sunday, a group of family and friends gathered at the crash site near Livermore to mourn the losses of 18 year-old Cody Shachtner and 19 year-old Joshua Naeve. The two were passengers in a car that lost control and rolled near the intersection of 130th Street and Rose Avenue. A third person in the vehicle, 19 year-old Landon Nokleby, remained hospitalized in Des Moines Sunday after he was reported to have life-threatening injuries. Funeral services for Shactner and Naeve are pending, with Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in charge.
