Wife of Missing Sac County Truck Driver Says His Body Has Been Found

After months of searching for answers, the wife of a Sac County man who disappeared months ago says her husband’s body has been found.

Sarah Schultz, has told KTIV that 53 year old David Schultz body was found in a farmer’s field just a mile and a half away from where his truck was located when he was reported missing in November.

She says the Sac County Sheriff’s Office identified him by the boots he was wearing.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation confirmed a body was found in a Sac County field shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday. 

According to Sarah, the body is being sent to the Iowa State Medical Examiner for official identification.
