U.S. Grains Jump to Multimonth Highs on Supply and Demand Outlook

CHICAGO--Wheat futures surged on Friday amid renewed concerns over available global supplies of the crop.
     Meanwhile, corn rose while soybeans fell.
     Wheat prices traded at 6-month highs amid fresh speculation that Russia, a major exporter of the grain, could curb exports to ensure adequate domestic supplies. Analysts said

DJ U.S. Live-Cattle Futures Recover Modest Gains After Sharp Slide

     CHICAGO--U.S. live-cattle futures have reversed early losses and are trading modestly higher Tuesday, lifted by short-covering after prices fell to the lowest levels in two months the previous session.

     December cattle futures recently advanced 1.225 cents, or 0.8%, to $1.62675 a pound at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
