Dodger, Gael Running Backs Set Career Highs



In local High School football action, the Fort Dodge Dodgers won their tenth straight game over Mason City and improved to 2-2 on the year with a 24-21 win. Sophomore running back Sam Cook ran for a career high 207 yards and two touchdowns, while quarterback Andrew Stover threw for 152 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile the St Edmond Gaels are 4-0 on the year after a 35-0 shutout win over Pocahontas. Senior fullback Vinnie Harvey also ran for a career high 182 yards and 4 touchdowns. Meanwhile the Titans from South Central Calhoun fell to 1-3 on the season as they fell by a 49-6 score to Carroll Kuemper Catholic.
