(BAGHDAD) -- More than 50 people were killed at a funeral in Sadr City district of Baghdad when a trio of explosions went off on Saturday.
A tent containing mourners at a Shiite funeral was hit by a pair of explosions, including one by a suicide car bomber, says BBC News. A third explosion reportedly occurred soon afterwards, when police, ambulances and firefighters gathered at the scene.
BBC News reported that at least 57 were reported dead and more than 100 were injured in the attack. No group has claimed responsibility for the bombings.
