Supervisors Considering CFR Contract

The Webster County Board of Supervisors are considering a proposed agreement to pay substance abuse and mental health costs for county residents. The agreement with Community and Family Resources would would provide crisis stabilization services, such as detox or mental health, where they would normally be hospitalized. Supervisor Clark Fletcher said the board moved to table the issue in part because no representatives from CFR were present:

Webster County Community Services Director Ken Hays advised the board that the agreement would nearly double the current rate the county has with CFR for detox, from $215 per day to $421.
