Benefit Dinner Planned for Hospitalized Lehigh Teen
A benefit dinner is planned for an area teenager who has remained in a coma since an October auto accident. 17 year-old Lehigh resident Emma Kiefer has remained hospitalized since an October 27 crash that occurred at the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 169. Authorities have said that another driver caused the crash when they failed to stop at a stop sign. Kiefer, a Southeast Webster Grand student, plays golf for the school and is involved in 4H. On Saturday, the Webster County Fairgrounds is hosting the "Nibbles for Emma" benefit at 4:00pm. There will be live and silent auctions and a free will donation dinner.
