Creston Man Charged Following Alleged Shooting, Car Chase
A southern Iowa man faces multiple charges in connection to a vehicle shooting. The state DCI says 32-year-old Creston resident Peter Wiley of was arrested Wednesday morning. Authorities say Wiley shot at a woman Tuesday night in Corning as she was driving. He is also accused of leading a police car chase Wednesday morning that ended with Wiley's car sliding into a ditch. Wiley is charged with attempted murder and going armed with intent in Adams County, where the alleged car shooting took place. He faces additional charges in Union County of felon in possession of a firearm, eluding and hit and run. He is also a suspect in a separate Tuesday shooting in Page County.
