Monday's Council Meeting Last for Patterson, Taylor

The next time it meets in session, the Fort Dodge City Council will have a slightly different look to it. Last night's council meeting was the final one for at-large councilman Barney Patterson and Ward 1 representative Mark Taylor. After serving four years on the council, Patterson decided to retire, and his seat will be occupied by Jeffrey Halter, who won election in November.

After having a front row seat these last four years, Patterson looks forward to seeing the city continue to grow in the future:

Taylor, who lost a re-election campaign to Terry Mohnke after two years on the council, says he's proud of what's been accomplished in Ward 1:

Patterson made the motion to adjourn the final council meeting of 2013, and Taylor seconded the motion.
