String of Reported Gunshots in Fort Dodge Continues

For the fifth time in a little over a week, the Fort Dodge Police Department received calls of gunshot fire. Shortly before 9:00 Wednesday night, officers responded to the 2600 block of 4th Avenue North. Assistant Police Chief Kevin Doty confirmed at least one shot was fired, but reported no injuries. On December 23, shots were reported fired in the area of 4th Avenue North and North 8th Street. On Christmas Eve, shots were reported near 10th Avenue SW, North 9th Street, and 14th Street. Three people were injured in those incidents. Webster County Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $500 for information on last weeks shooting incidents.
