Health Officials Report Iowa Flu Death

Officials have reported the flu death of an otherwise healthy Iowa child. In a news release Tuesday, the Iowa Public Health Department said it's not too late for people to get flu shots. The department says it was especially important for children to be vaccinated, because this year's most common influenza strain, H1N1, is hitting children hard. The department did not specify how old the child was, provide a name and where they lived. The department also says it's been notified of several probable adult deaths related to the flu.
