Southeast Webster Grand Approves Grade Sharing Agreement

Two local school districts have agreed to a whole grade-sharing system. Last night, the Southeast Webster Grand school board approved the agreement with the Prairie Valley School District. The measure passed by a 4-3 vote. One day earlier, the Prairie Valley school board voted unanimously to approve the agreement. Under the agreement, the two districts would each keep its elementary school, share a middle school in Burnside, and share a high school in Gowrie. Activities costs would also be shared evenly, as well. The contract will take effect on July 1 and the whole grade-sharing system will start with the next school year.
