The Fort Dodge City Council has scheduled a workshop for this evening to discuss funding for several different groups. The workshop will begin at 5:00pm in the council chambers. Among the agenda items, the council will review proposed budgets for the parking fund and administration. The possible property tax rate for the next fiscal year will be discussed, as well. In addition, the council will discuss funding for the Webster County Emergency Management Agency. According to a proposal, the city is asked to contribute $24,375 for the next fiscal year. The Webster County Board of Supervisors have requested that cities in the county help pay for EMA services.
