FDSH, Duncombe Elementary Roof Replacement Projects Moving Forward



The Fort Dodge Community School Board is moving forward with plans to replace roofs on two school buildings. The board approved resolutions to approve cost estimates and specifications for the projects at Fort Dodge Senior High and Duncombe Elementary. Travis Filloon, district Director of Buildings and Grounds, says bids on both projects will open on March 6 and awarded on March 10. Construction at both buildings would start on June 9 and be completed by the start of the next school year. The Duncombe Elementary project is estimated at $143,500 while a new roof at FDSH is estimated at $342,500.
