Alta Sisters Die From Train Crash Injuries

Two young sisters injured when a train hit the car they were in have died of their injuries. The Sioux City Journal reports that Alta residents 4-year-old Chloe and 2-year-old Camille Binder died Friday at a South Dakota hospital. They were hospitalized Thursday following the crash at an Alta railroad crossing. The children's mother, 37-year-old Alta resident Heather Binder also was injured in the crash and was last listed in fair condition. Binder's 15-year-old son,  Storm Lake resident Nathaniel Harmes, was driving. He's expected to be OK.
